Visual identity and table-presentation setting for a new concept of traditional Thai cuisine with modern European techniques.

From the restaurant’s entrance, the façade represents French windows with their original proportions, while our signage at front emphasizes the play of light and shadow.

Vilas is a Thai word with two definitions: Firstly, “from Europe, from other lands,” and secondly, “charm and beauty.” These two meanings reflect the restaurant’s use of new world ingredients and ancient cooking techniques, where every design and flavorful detail is observed and considered. European and Thai cultures are delicately combined in a refreshing and contemporary setting.
